# DS cloud vs Container Manager

The clearest difference is rating: DS cloud at 2.5 against Container Manager's 1.0. DS cloud also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (72 vs 2). Container Manager's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 23%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Container Manager sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. DS cloud asks for nothing beyond the download.

DS cloud holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DS cloud has 72 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of DS cloud's written reviews are positive against 33% of Container Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
