# Pitchero vs Lord's

The clearest difference is ads: Lord's at none against Pitchero's shown. Lord's also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4). Pitchero's advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 15%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lord's holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 67 and 126 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Pitchero's written reviews are positive against 15% of Lord's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pitchero ships an update weekly, Lord's every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
