# Pitchero vs LTA Courtside

Pitchero and LTA Courtside both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 43% of Pitchero's written reviews are positive against 8% of LTA Courtside's. Pitchero also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). LTA Courtside's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

LTA Courtside holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 67 and 115 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of Pitchero's written reviews are positive against 8% of LTA Courtside's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pitchero ships an update weekly, LTA Courtside every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
