# TRUEBOOK vs Hytexts eBook Store

The clearest difference is rating: TRUEBOOK at 5.0 against Hytexts eBook Store's 3.2. TRUEBOOK also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 15.6). Hytexts eBook Store's advantage is review sentiment (53% vs 35%) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TRUEBOOK sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Hytexts eBook Store sells 31 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TRUEBOOK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hytexts eBook Store has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of TRUEBOOK's written reviews are positive against 53% of Hytexts eBook Store's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TRUEBOOK ships an update every 2 months, Hytexts eBook Store monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
