# MsgTheWorld vs DeckFilter

The clearest difference is price: MsgTheWorld at Free against DeckFilter's $4.99. MsgTheWorld also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 85%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). DeckFilter's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

MsgTheWorld is free to download; DeckFilter costs $4.99 up front. MsgTheWorld sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DeckFilter asks for nothing beyond the download.

DeckFilter holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DeckFilter has 88 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of MsgTheWorld's written reviews are positive against 85% of DeckFilter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MsgTheWorld ships an update every 13 months, DeckFilter fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
