# Timecode+ vs AWCMedia

The clearest difference is price: AWCMedia at Free against Timecode+'s $19.99. AWCMedia also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). Timecode+'s advantage is ratings volume (89 vs 1). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

AWCMedia is free to download; Timecode+ costs $19.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AWCMedia holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timecode+ has 89 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
