# Blindscape vs Dark Frequency

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Blindscape at none against Dark Frequency's 4. Blindscape also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Dark Frequency's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 55 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dark Frequency sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Blindscape asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dark Frequency holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blindscape has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
