# Skill Levels vs EnglishSharingApps

The clearest difference is update cadence: Skill Levels at every 3 months against EnglishSharingApps's every 8 months. Skill Levels also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Skill Levels sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and EnglishSharingApps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Skill Levels ships an update every 3 months, EnglishSharingApps every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
