# Fun Text vs Score Keeper Live

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Score Keeper Live at 89% against Fun Text's 50%. Score Keeper Live also leads on ratings volume (24 vs 1). Fun Text's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fun Text sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Score Keeper Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Text holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Score Keeper Live has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Fun Text's written reviews are positive against 89% of Score Keeper Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fun Text ships an update every 3 months, Score Keeper Live every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
