# Smart Post vs Digital U

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Digital U at 100% against Smart Post's 61%. Digital U also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). Smart Post's advantage is ratings volume (425 vs 2) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smart Post sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year and Digital U sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital U holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smart Post has 425 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Smart Post's written reviews are positive against 100% of Digital U's.

Smart Post ships an update every 9 days, Digital U every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
