# ArtNetDmxRemote vs Light'J

The clearest difference is rating: Light'J at 3.0 against ArtNetDmxRemote's 2.0. Light'J also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). ArtNetDmxRemote's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 33%) and ratings volume (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ArtNetDmxRemote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Light'J sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Light'J holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of ArtNetDmxRemote's written reviews are positive against 33% of Light'J's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ArtNetDmxRemote ships an update every 7 months, Light'J every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
