# Joist vs Construction Connect

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Joist at 14K against Construction Connect's 1. Joist also leads on chart position (#15 vs unranked). Construction Connect's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Joist sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Construction Connect sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Construction Connect holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Joist has 14K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
