# OptikamPad vs Aloha Go

The clearest difference is rating: Aloha Go at 4.7 against OptikamPad's 4.1. Aloha Go also leads on ratings volume (97 vs 11) and device support (3 vs 1). OptikamPad's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aloha Go holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aloha Go has 97 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two.

OptikamPad ships an update every 3 weeks, Aloha Go every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
