# EZ vs HikCentral Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: HikCentral Mobile at 4.7 against EZ's 1.9. HikCentral Mobile also leads on ratings volume (278 vs 7) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). EZ's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HikCentral Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HikCentral Mobile has 278 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of EZ's written reviews are positive against 18% of HikCentral Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EZ ships an update every 3 months, HikCentral Mobile every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
