# EZ vs EZView UNV

The clearest difference is rating: EZView UNV at 3.2 against EZ's 1.9. EZView UNV also leads on ratings volume (652 vs 7) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). EZ's advantage is iOS requirement (6.0 vs 8.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EZView UNV holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 1.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EZView UNV has 652 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of EZ's written reviews are positive against 14% of EZView UNV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

EZ ships an update every 3 months, EZView UNV every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
