# Dots Pipe vs Bird Mini Golf

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dots Pipe at 78% against Bird Mini Golf's 20%. Dots Pipe also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 17 months). Bird Mini Golf's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.2) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dots Pipe sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Bird Mini Golf asks for nothing beyond the download.

Bird Mini Golf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dots Pipe has 49 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Dots Pipe's written reviews are positive against 20% of Bird Mini Golf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
