# Curator vs Noto

The clearest difference is rating: Noto at 4.6 against Curator's 2.6. Noto also leads on review sentiment (68% vs 44%) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 47). Curator's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Noto sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Curator asks for nothing beyond the download.

Noto holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Noto has 1.3K ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 44% of Curator's written reviews are positive against 68% of Noto's.
