# Readback vs performify

The clearest difference is update cadence: performify at every 2 months against Readback's every 6 months. Readback's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Readback sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and performify sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readback ships an update every 6 months, performify every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
