# MoDic vs Полиглот

The clearest difference is update cadence: MoDic at every 2 months against Полиглот's every 5 months. MoDic also leads on review sentiment (89% vs 77%) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). Полиглот's advantage is ratings volume (27 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MoDic sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Полиглот sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MoDic against 5.0 for Полиглот. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Полиглот has 27 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of MoDic's written reviews are positive against 77% of Полиглот's.

MoDic ships an update every 2 months, Полиглот every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
