# PagerDuty vs Wicket Edge

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PagerDuty at 5.2K against Wicket Edge's 6. PagerDuty also leads on update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). Wicket Edge's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wicket Edge holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PagerDuty has 5.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PagerDuty ships an update weekly, Wicket Edge fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
