# PagerDuty vs Iru Access

PagerDuty and Iru Access both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Iru Access's written reviews are positive against 25% of PagerDuty's. Iru Access also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). PagerDuty's advantage is ratings volume (5.2K vs 23) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Iru Access holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PagerDuty has 5.2K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 25% of PagerDuty's written reviews are positive against 100% of Iru Access's.

PagerDuty ships an update weekly, Iru Access every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
