# HomeWAV vs myAzuria

The clearest difference is monetization model: myAzuria at free against HomeWAV's free with in-app purchases. myAzuria also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). HomeWAV's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 4) and chart position (#165 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.8 for HomeWAV against 3.8 for myAzuria. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeWAV has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 8% of HomeWAV's written reviews are positive against 0% of myAzuria's.

HomeWAV ships an update every 5 weeks, myAzuria fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
