# HomeWAV vs urvote

The clearest difference is rating: urvote at 5.0 against HomeWAV's 3.8. urvote also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks). HomeWAV's advantage is ratings volume (11K vs 2) and chart position (#147 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

urvote holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HomeWAV has 11K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HomeWAV ships an update every 5 weeks, urvote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
