# PureVPN vs MileShift

The clearest difference is update cadence: MileShift at every 3 days against PureVPN's every 2 weeks. PureVPN's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PureVPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $8.39 per month and MileShift sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PureVPN ships an update every 2 weeks, MileShift every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
