# Asteroid Impact vs SPD

The clearest difference is update cadence: SPD at every 2 days against Asteroid Impact's every 15 months. SPD also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Asteroid Impact sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SPD sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Asteroid Impact ships an update every 15 months, SPD every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
