# Ring4 vs Onoff Numbers

Ring4 and Onoff Numbers both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 57% of Ring4's written reviews are positive against 44% of Onoff Numbers's. Ring4 also leads on ratings volume (2.9K vs 792) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ring4 sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Onoff Numbers sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Onoff Numbers holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.9K and 792 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Ring4's written reviews are positive against 44% of Onoff Numbers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ring4 ships an update monthly, Onoff Numbers fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
