# WorkTime vs PDF Magic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: PDF Magic at 100% against WorkTime's 39%. PDF Magic also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.5) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). WorkTime's advantage is ratings volume (104 vs 4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorkTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and PDF Magic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PDF Magic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WorkTime has 104 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 39% of WorkTime's written reviews are positive against 100% of PDF Magic's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
