# ABG Smart Mobile vs Sam by UCM

The clearest difference is rating: ABG Smart Mobile at 4.7 against Sam by UCM's 3.0. ABG Smart Mobile also leads on ratings volume (1.5K vs 34). Sam by UCM's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ABG Smart Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ABG Smart Mobile has 1.5K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of ABG Smart Mobile's written reviews are positive against 31% of Sam by UCM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABG Smart Mobile ships an update every 3 months, Sam by UCM every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
