# Tab vs Hercules CyclePay

Tab and Hercules CyclePay both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 66% of Tab's written reviews are positive against 41% of Hercules CyclePay's. Tab also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Hercules CyclePay holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.2K and 3.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of Tab's written reviews are positive against 41% of Hercules CyclePay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tab ships an update every 3 weeks, Hercules CyclePay every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
