# Tab vs PopID

Tab and PopID both sit at 4.2 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PopID's written reviews are positive against 66% of Tab's. Tab's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 6) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for Tab against 4.2 for PopID. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tab has 1.2K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 66% of Tab's written reviews are positive against 100% of PopID's.

Tab ships an update every 3 weeks, PopID every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
