# Learn vs German VB

The clearest difference is update cadence: German VB at every 5 weeks against Learn's every 20 months. Learn's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and German VB sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn ships an update every 20 months, German VB every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
