# Tody vs Collections Application

The clearest difference is rating: Tody at 4.8 against Collections Application's 4.0. Tody also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (11K vs 1). Collections Application's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tody sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Collections Application sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tody holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tody has 11K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Tody's written reviews are positive against 100% of Collections Application's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tody ships an update every 2 weeks, Collections Application every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
