# Tody vs Habit Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Tody at 11K against Habit Tracker's 4. Tody also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Habit Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 10 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tody sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per year and Habit Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Habit Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tody has 11K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Tody's written reviews are positive against 100% of Habit Tracker's.

Tody ships an update every 10 days, Habit Tracker every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
