# Pente Live vs Pente Go

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Pente Go at none against Pente Live's 1. Pente Go also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). Pente Live's advantage is ratings volume (338 vs 35) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pente Live sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year. Pente Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

Pente Go holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pente Live has 338 ratings behind it against 35, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 50% positive.

Pente Live ships an update weekly, Pente Go every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
