# HD Thermometer ⊎ vs StormPrepared

The clearest difference is rating: StormPrepared at 5.0 against HD Thermometer ⊎'s 4.3. StormPrepared also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). HD Thermometer ⊎'s advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 2) and chart position (#69 vs unranked). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HD Thermometer ⊎ sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and StormPrepared sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
