# Tiny Scanner vs Scan Now

The clearest difference is ads: Scan Now at none against Tiny Scanner's shown. Tiny Scanner's advantage is review sentiment (91% vs 60%) and ratings volume (182K vs 2K). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tiny Scanner sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Scan Now sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.95 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Tiny Scanner against 4.8 for Scan Now. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tiny Scanner has 182K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
