# Camping Magazine vs Campit KS

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Campit KS at none against Camping Magazine's 10. Campit KS also leads on review sentiment (31% vs 0%) and ratings volume (2.1K vs 1). Camping Magazine's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (11.2 vs 15.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camping Magazine sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Campit KS asks for nothing beyond the download.

Camping Magazine holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Campit KS has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Camping Magazine's written reviews are positive against 31% of Campit KS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Camping Magazine ships an update every 10 months, Campit KS every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
