# fiilX vs 2048

The clearest difference is rating: 2048 at 4.7 against fiilX's 1.0. 2048 also leads on ratings volume (417 vs 1). fiilX's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 19 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 2048 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. fiilX asks for nothing beyond the download.

2048 holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 2048 has 417 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of fiilX's written reviews are positive against 94% of 2048's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

fiilX ships an update every 2 months, 2048 every 19 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
