# fiilX vs Smoosh Lab

The clearest difference is rating: Smoosh Lab at 4.6 against fiilX's 1.0. Smoosh Lab also leads on ratings volume (34 vs 1). fiilX's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 61%) and in-app purchases (none vs 5). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Smoosh Lab sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. fiilX asks for nothing beyond the download.

Smoosh Lab holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Smoosh Lab has 34 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of fiilX's written reviews are positive against 61% of Smoosh Lab's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
