# Roadside 2 Go vs AARP Roadside Assistance

The clearest difference is rating: AARP Roadside Assistance at 3.9 against Roadside 2 Go's 2.8. AARP Roadside Assistance also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 4) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). Roadside 2 Go's advantage is review sentiment (60% vs 30%) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AARP Roadside Assistance holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AARP Roadside Assistance has 1.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Roadside 2 Go's written reviews are positive against 30% of AARP Roadside Assistance's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Roadside 2 Go ships an update every 9 months, AARP Roadside Assistance every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
