# Cluster vs COSMO

The clearest difference is rating: Cluster at 4.8 against COSMO's 3.1. Cluster also leads on ratings volume (22K vs 270) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 2 months). COSMO's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cluster sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. COSMO asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cluster holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cluster has 22K ratings behind it against 270, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Cluster's written reviews are positive against 60% of COSMO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cluster ships an update every 4 weeks, COSMO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
