# Cluster vs CAVU Radar

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CAVU Radar at none against Cluster's 6. CAVU Radar also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 3 weeks). Cluster's advantage is ratings volume (22K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). On price, rating, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Cluster sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. CAVU Radar asks for nothing beyond the download.

CAVU Radar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cluster has 22K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Cluster ships an update every 3 weeks, CAVU Radar every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
