# Send Anywhere vs Doc Scanner

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Send Anywhere at 55K against Doc Scanner's 4. Doc Scanner's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 14.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Send Anywhere sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Doc Scanner sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Doc Scanner holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Send Anywhere has 55K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Send Anywhere ships an update monthly, Doc Scanner every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
