# n+otes vs NoteFly

The clearest difference is ratings volume: n+otes at 45K against NoteFly's 1. n+otes also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (4 vs 2). NoteFly's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. n+otes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and NoteFly sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteFly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: n+otes has 45K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

n+otes ships an update fortnightly, NoteFly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
