# Kickstarter vs RMDApp

The clearest difference is ads: RMDApp at none against Kickstarter's shown. RMDApp also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 18.0). Kickstarter's advantage is update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 4 months) and chart position (#195 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Kickstarter ships an update every 4 weeks, RMDApp every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
