# Doumbek! vs RETM | رتم

The clearest difference is rating: Doumbek! at 4.0 against RETM | رتم's 1.0. Doumbek! also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (28 vs 2). RETM | رتم's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 25%) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Doumbek! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RETM | رتم sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Doumbek! holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Doumbek! has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Doumbek!'s written reviews are positive against 67% of RETM | رتم's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Doumbek! ships an update every 3 days, RETM | رتم every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
