# Speech Jammer vs DogTok

The clearest difference is rating: DogTok at 4.3 against Speech Jammer's 3.1. DogTok also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). Speech Jammer's advantage is review sentiment (51% vs 13%) and in-app purchases (none vs 4). On price there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DogTok sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Speech Jammer asks for nothing beyond the download.

DogTok holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DogTok has 3.8K ratings behind it against 614, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Speech Jammer's written reviews are positive against 13% of DogTok's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
