# Clarín.com vs MDZ Diario

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MDZ Diario at 50% against Clarín.com's 13%. MDZ Diario also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). Clarín.com's advantage is rating (2.4 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (76 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Clarín.com holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clarín.com has 76 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of Clarín.com's written reviews are positive against 50% of MDZ Diario's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clarín.com ships an update every 6 weeks, MDZ Diario monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
