# Disasteroids vs Brave Planet

The clearest difference is ads: Disasteroids at none against Brave Planet's shown. Disasteroids also leads on ratings volume (30 vs 2). Brave Planet's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 52 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Disasteroids sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Brave Planet sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Brave Planet holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Disasteroids has 30 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Disasteroids ships an update every 52 months, Brave Planet monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
