# 97.3 The Eagle vs 97.3 The Wolf

The clearest difference is rating: 97.3 The Eagle at 4.8 against 97.3 The Wolf's 4.3. 97.3 The Eagle also leads on ratings volume (335 vs 8). 97.3 The Wolf's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

97.3 The Eagle holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 97.3 The Eagle has 335 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of 97.3 The Eagle's written reviews are positive against 100% of 97.3 The Wolf's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
